Ads..,..ads....ads, every body is always talking about the ads that Gmail uses????
What ads......I have never seen any ads.
I though maybe I didn't see any because I use Firefox and the Proxomitron, so I tried IE.....nothing. At this time, I have just reformated and reloaded my system, and I am not using the Proxomitron.....and still no ads.
Can some one tell me where these bloody ads are suppose to be hiding?
BTW, I really like gmail and google, and so what if they track keywords and search results......they might put some ads up for some great porn or something.

There are no image based ads in Gmail, only text based ads which are presented to deal with relevant words in the e-mail you're reading.. see below.

whore, check the keyboard shortcuts. I KNOW there is one for delete...

I would like a button... when I'm reading e-mail, I tend to go keyboard-less and like my important buttons to be there...

Those are ads???? Well, they are sure not invasive. I guess I have seen them then, but most of mine a technically rated, and I never even notice them.
Thanks GW for pointing them out for me.

After reformating and reloading (and installing SP2) my gmail doesn't work in IE, but thats no great loss, as I don't use IE except for Windows Update anyway. (It starts to load but just shows a blank page)
