What? That's just as bad is people who get into the H word then later down the road beleave that they have anything worth social engineering.Quote:
Its wierd some of the people we get here with their poor social engineering attempts.
I found AO like everyone else has. I seen a URL then either typed it into my browser or click... click... clicked.
I forget how I heard about it. I think I was reading on happy hacker or something. I think the reason I didn't think it was a hacking site, was for one the motto or whatever of the site. It seemed to have a security theme. I also read for a bit before I actually signed up, so that helped me a lot in knowing it wasn't a hacking forum. Also, i wasn't looking for a place to ask people how to hack and have them tell me. So I guess how I heard about AO and my entry into it was pretty smooth.
I was searching for a fix to a problem I was helping with on a friend's system. I found the correct solution here and after reviewing some of the other posts that this would be a good place to help others, as well as learn more.
Was doing a Google search for some php info and found myself here. Thought I'd stay. =P
I stumbled across Antionline while looking for security forums on Google. I was getting feed up with places like http://www.jinx.com/ and http://www.hackinthebox.org/ where either you got punks asking questions like “How do I Hack” or if you ask a legitimate question none of the “elites” seem to know what you are talking about. So far this it the best security forum system I have found, I think the Antipoint system makes it work well.
We get people here asking "how do you hack" all the time. It seems like a common thing for security forumes.
Trust me, it's not near as bad here as it is at the two places I listed above. Antionline is the best forum system I've found.
well a friend of mine told me about antioline and how prestigious it was (way back in 2002) after i got out of my hostel i registered in this one .
I was on a linux site and somebody was asking alot of windows questions. Somebody mentioned this site. Now I have a place to search for any problems I might have in windows.
AO is a good place to search and read up on the security aspect of computers.
