The quick answer is yes, they can find you if they want to work hard enough and you don't take some major steps to hide where you are coming from.
More than likely it was a snare web site, if the report is true at all. A site set up to capture and trace any visitors to it. And even then, they would have to see repeat visits to be able to prove cause and it most likely would be child porn.
no according to the reports it was not a sit it was on google.
they were on the image section and typed in pre teen or little girls or something and the police rushed round
3rd and 2nd world countries tend to arrest people for no reason lol. The fact of the matter is, if you did something bad enough for the authorities to want you, they can get you. With the cooperation of ISP's, it's really no harder then tracing an email...
Unless you live in a 3rd or 2nd world country, and you aren't a regular visitor of any kiddie porn sites then you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
One gets the feeling that the police were already watching the ppl.. and were just waiting for the right moment...Quote:
duh..I wonda if there are any nooo pretty kiddie places out there..duh
Do you have a link to where you read about this?
And to answer your question.. Yes ..it's called sniffers.. watching every little packet comming and going from your machine.... just waiting for you to type a badass line.....
Cheers
honest officer, i was there by accident and my computer always enters my credit card number in ever form it sees...ya gotta believe me
unless you take precautions like chaining reliable proxies there is always a direct trail to your computer.
