Maybe if everyone and their freaking mom did not pass around the video's of these beheadings and the major news networks did not publice these beheading's it would not happen as much. They are glorified because they now shown to everyone in the world and although americans are pissed think about all those sympathetic people in the Middle East who watch those video's and go F the Americans we are showing them!

These terrorists know damn well that the US won't negotiate with them, or give in to their demands. They are doing this simply to get the coverage to convey whatever message it is they are trying to convey.
Well we went in there trying to help and done as much as we can .. getting rid of saddam etc .. if they dont want to start helping .. maybe it is time to leave and let the country sort itself out.. it will never get any better.

Everyone of these beheadings is ONE ritualistic and TWO death worshipping. They are in essence a cult that sacrifices humans to god. They show the videos not that much anymore in America. Name me one major network that aired it? They show it in muslim countries to incite the radicals and give them a taste of western blood and scare others into protecting them.
You are right about this. I dont think many (if any) news organizations would air the video (at least in America) however, snip this in the bud, put it on the back page where noone looks and they will at least get less attention and a smaller crowd. I think that they are doing this for the reasons that you mentioned above, but they are also doing it because news orgs will report on it because there is loss of life in an inhumane way. Or how about using all this technology we have been spending billions on every year and find a way to block these satellites that are broadcasting these videos.Quote:

And airing something isn't cause for knocking one out of the sky either. They would just beam it to another one. Would have to knock out the ground station and there are several. Not to mention it could be back up in a day or two assuming their encryption devices are kept in escrow somewhere.
You know that some time ago the interim government in Iraq stopped airing Al Jazeera, and they have taken the matter to court.
I know it would be censorship. (I am not really down for that) It was mainly a pissed off rant. Perhaps legally pursuing the Al Jazeera would be a better cause, but its just incredible to me that these people can broadcast it without a second thought.Quote:

Humm so how is hacking off someone head with a kinfe worse then shooting someone in the head..or indiscriminatly bombing residential areas?
a bullet is designed to kill the person with the least amount of suffering possible and quickly .. hacking someones head off? is not exactly "qucik and easy" so to speak. Bombing resedential areas .. you don't even know who/how many or what you are going to injure/kill if you bomb a resedential area.
