Whatever freebsd is i don't see it a lot differnt from linux. both are unix variant. I finished installation. Gore tutorial helped me as well ..since he hadn't explained X installation i am struggling with manual :)

Not exactly. Linux is a UNIX like kernel. It has the look and feel of UNIX but was build from scratch. The *BSDs on the other hand are direct descendents of the one and only original UNIX.Quote:

That's twice in the same thread. Really. Go play with *BSD and try to learn something from AO not learn how easily you can get banned at AO.

I am playing with freebsd indeed not much fun though :) ...damn it, I think you have been off with me phew times, common I know you should b better than me but at the same time I assume you are learning to neg ppl.

I'm not defending Hypronix but some people here will neg people because of their (apparent) attidude. A bad attitude is a sure way to get banned. Also be weary of flamebaits, trolls or people having fun at your expense. Don't fall for it and you'll do fine ;)
I'm not here to say I'm better than anybody. If I was that all-knowing uber-leet tech I wouldn't need help myself right? But I am here, I know I don't know nearly enough and I'm here to learn aswell. That has nothing to do with your attitude, as SirDice mentioned, and the fact that your posts so far were a cry for getting spoon fed.
This ain't the place, that's all. It's better to prevent than to have to deal with the problem.
And AntiPoint threats/bitching usually gets to even more negs. Read the FAQs :)
