I guess he is dead. Meaning he died and they resucitated him with machines. He is only alive through life support and his brain is clinically dead. They are waiting for the right moment to lay him to rest.

Although that may change based on this AP Report that claims he has "hours to live".
He's Muslim, and if I'm correct Muslims need to be buried within 24 hours of passing away. Since they haven't found a burying place yet, they're keeping him alive... make sense? :)
Negative: So what your saying is as long as we see that he isn't buried or hear they haven't found a spot, then he's still alive? I forgot about that whole "muslim tradition" thing. All this jitter is confusing me though... I think the dude's straight dead. It's just a matter of days from now..
