That's a lot of information and definitely for a customer who's looking to get space, etc... They could've gone into detail about all the power, cooling, and storage ability, but I wouldn't left off the security measures or been very vague about the methods of security.

They're pobably only trying to impress their clients. Advert stunt to wipe out the sci-fi fans.
Business is all about risks. The higher the risk, the higher the profit. They're taking transparency in business to a higher level.

Most of the *actual* real datacentres I've been to are:
- Their location isn't advertised on the web site, nor is the floor plan available
- There isn't a big sign outside saying "Internet data centre". In fact they tend to be rather drab buildings undistinguished in the middle of an industrial estate. I drove past one loads of times before realising that was it.
- Getting in requires signing loads of forms in triplicate etc, they need pre-advice and someone is with you at all times anyway
So in fact, not at all like that one.
