I think that Negative was being slightly ironic..............he has a good point though. It is a sort of unwritten rule here that you do not give Antipoints in the cosmos forum. It is sort of in our AO tradition of free speech.

By the way, you mentioned politicians..............have your Congressman and Mayor sent you a Christmas card yet?..........................if they have not, your "lashing on them" might possibly have little effect?

Ok Iconoclasta, time to answer you seriously for a moment. First off, they're right - in Cosmos, AP's are a big nono, because in AO's infinite wisdom, they recognize that our opinions differ - and we shouldn't be penalized for giving them voice. It's rather stupid for you to neg someone because they are pro death penalty and you aren't, don't you think? It serves no purpose other than starting a Neg war, which I'm sure you don't want at this stage of your newbie life.
As for me having only joined a few months ago, and having only just over 300 posts... That should say something shouldn't it? I mean seriously, there aren't many of us newer addicts running around with so many points at such a low number of posts. This probably means I'm posting something someone somewhere agrees with, yes? It also means I learned at the very beginning only to post when I had something legitimate to add to a post. (once again eternal thanks, almighty Tiger Shark, for the lesson!)
I sincerely hope you learned from this. If so, mission accomplished. If not, you'll eventually get banned and start over yet again - that all is up to you. In the meantime, I'll continue posting my political views in Cosmos without fear. I invite you to do the same.
