You can't delete the Adminstrator account since WINNT, (the SSID 500 account). If you have the administrator account password then boot to safe mode and use it to fix your issue.
If you don't there are tools out there to reset it to blank that work very well.
Yeah exactly, my admin's password is admin. I did that and it says that I am an admin, how do I get into user groups and get my system tools up? How do you mean by blank?Quote:

Proof of admin
Try going to the root of the drive, selecting properties - security - advanced - and take ownership, (_force_ it down through the tree), and then re-login.
Go to the Taskbar ---> Properties ---> Start Menu ---> select Customize Button ---> Advanced --> Scroll down to System Administrative Tools. Ensure that the Display All Programs menu and the Start Menu is selected
Ok I will try both of your ideas, thanks. By the way, even in safemode with the windows admin account I still cannot see it, so you may be right mittens.
