Merry Christmas one and all,
I have my family round today for Christmas dinner, I realy should be inbed , but for some strange reason my eldest daughter insists on watching, "gone with the wind"..............go figuer.
We in the jinxy house hold do what just about everyone else does............ie, eat and drink three times more in a given period of time, than we normaly would.
Merry Xmas to all - 1/2 way through Xmas Day Down Under - already finished work for the day (crime doesn't stop for Xmas and holidays unfortunately).
37 degrees C and climbing with a threat of a severe thunderstorm - oh I wish for at least one white, freezing cold Xmas in my life.
Hope Santa brought you all that you wished for - have a safe holiday and spare a thought for those, where ever they are, that are away from their families at this time doing what they do so your time is as safe and peaceful as possible.

BAh Humbug..
any how christmas is over in OZ.. it was its typical hot self..
ate lots of food..drank what ever alcoholic beverage was available (I bloody wish.. fruit juice for me )
I spent Christmas Eve knowing I was working within 4ft (at times) of my 15 yrold childeren (yes Twins ).. the unfortunate thing is there is a double firewall between us.. and If I step into the other building I will be escorted out and risk arrest..but mind that is only while they are working in there.. I am welcome while ever they are not on duty.. but I can not ask for a roster to prevent an accidental encounter because it is considered stalking and an invasion of their privacy..
Then to make my life interesting. My X parked infront of my works main entrence for 2 and a half hours on friday afternoon, sitting in the car at various times..
I have 2 job interviews lined up for the new year
I hate f**cking Christmas, it sucks more than a Hoover on heat
so as not to fall into a state of total self pity.. this morning My Wife and step daughter and I visited the local hospital to see a friend, back in town after chemo.. so my christmas wasnt that bad.. she may not see next christmas.. but we pray ..
I do wish better for ypu guys.. a few I know have partners who are not well, not to forget a few also could be a lot better themselves.. I pray 2005 is a better year for all of you....
Oh and for those Who had to work today.. I hope it was a easy day.. and next year you can get away.. (a nurse at the hospital this is her 5th consecutive christmas at work.and it is never a easy day)
