Like I want every home user to be able to run regedit and muck around in there...and start deleting keys they dont recognize :rolleyes:

Guess it would just create work.........

personally....set it for automatic up dates......and hopefully they reboot once in awhile

Well, checking in the registry is just something I do once in a while to make sure it's clean, if the average home user does not, they most likely won't notice a difference in performance.

Thats another thing I can't stand, all these users who downloads like three to seven of the same stuff and the idea they have behind this is that if one AV fails the other will have its back. This is only admiting what an awsome joke these programs are.

Actually, AV's are AV's and AM's are AM's (AM = anti malware :)) AV's are designed to pick up virii and AM's are meant to pick up malware... and yes, they essentially have eachothers back for this reason...

BTW, some people will argue that there are AV's that do both, but in my personal experience, they do a poor job...
