there's already been a couple of instances of transmission from human to human (h5n1)but fortunatly they were contained. there's bound to be one that eludes us but lets hope its after a vaccine is produced on a scale large enough where we all can get it. im old enough to remember quarintine signs tacked on people's doors for scarlet fever and such. it's real to me and i have no doubt we will see an outbreak of bird flu but how wide spread depends on the co-operation of everyone...world wide ("fat'a chance", Guido Sarduchi)
i find it scarry when govs in SE Asia cover it up.

From the moment you're born you're going to die...so I don't worry about it one way or the other...it's not a question of ' if ', it's a question of ' how ' and ' when '...given the choice I'd prefer to die peacefully in my sleep...but that's probably not how it's going to play out.
Nature will continue to provide bigger and better ways to kill us...before we even cure ' this '...nature is in the process of creating something else. Simply put...it's natures way of weeding out the weak...thinning out the pack so to speak...that's just the way it is for all animals and there's not much we can do about it...sure, we can slow it down...but eventually everyone dies to make room for the next generation.

If you cured every disease and stopped every death that should/would be caused by it, you're only helping kill us all even faster.
