Someone paying for a hummer doesn't equate to a "Sex offender". Sex offenders are rapists and their lesser ilk. Perhaps touching a "part" without consent, messing with a person incapacitated in some way etc...

And of course if you slip the beef to someone under the age of 18. Doesn't matter if 15 is her age and your's is 16, you are charged.
From the other side of the coin.....
Of all the crimes out there Sexual crimes, especially those against children, heve one of the highest rates of recidivism, (sp?). If I had a child you damn well better be sure that I want to know which houses on my street/neigborhood to tell them they must avoid. In the long run the act of pointing the perverts out to my kids is for the safety and good health of the pervert because, trust me, they pervert would suffer far more than my child does at their hands. 'Nuff said........
anything done to a child is just unacceptable .....and they should be known to the community
But as for 2 consenting adults....
Take for instance the guy that has been seeing a girl he met in a bar...they date a few times ..and party.
The girl wants a "serious" relationship...but the guy is not sure...he is having a good time and isnt really serious about the girl.
They do the "thing" a few times...along with some wild drinking.
The girl is getting frustrated as it is not moving the way she wanted...they go out..drink alot..and party...the guy doesnt want to see her anymore.....
2 weeks later...he is charged with rape...as she claims "I dont remember...I was drunk"
He is charged with rape...because he took advantage of her while she was intoxicated or incapable of making an informed decission.....
trial goes on for 4 years...and the charges are finally dropped....seems shes well known to the court...for making false accusations etc...and she couldnt keep her story straight...
It happened to my brother...the guy that babysits my kids....
Not only was he publically humiliated...there was a huge mental\financial cost to him and our whole family...and that bitch walked away....
I wishy wash on this subject because of the "false accusations"
MLF
That's why if a Woman or man claim to be sexually assaulted and it's found they were not, after 3 times they should have their vaginas loaded with Castup and be sent to a Cannibal Island.
Watch Cannibal Holocaust for more .
I vote that Gore be in charge of deciding judicial sentences from now on.

If paying for sex is a crime worth having your face stuck on a billboard the you are going to run out of billboards fairly quickly. Just going through the army, navy and airforce. You would have to stick the face of nearly half the armed forces who served abroad up there.
I would be totally for having the face of a rapest stuck up there. As for a pedaophile sex offender I would much rather seeing them stuck up there and not bother with the picture. To be honest recidivism wouldnt be a problem with anyone who touched my child or any child in my family circle.
While every state is different, the going trend is not so cut and dry. Even if you are over 18. There are a couple of factors... in a "position of trust" in most cases would be Sexual Assault. That is your father, uncle, brother, teacher, baby sitter etc. If you are 16 and she is 15, it's ok as long as there is parental implied consent or the girl says she wants to have "sexual relations". Now if she is 13 and you are over 17 then is Sexual Assault with a child. 18 isn't even a factor there. The ages vary state by state but most have similar circumstances.Quote:

If a memeber of the Air Force is in Amsterdam where it's legal and he or she partakes in the local establishment, the member has committed no crime. Regardless of the law of the land. So yes the are guilty but of no wrong doing, just partaking in the act.Quote:

RoadClosed, I would have to disagree with you about military members serving abroad being allowed to "partake in the local establishment". Being an acitive duty service member, we are subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice no matter where we are, whether we are on work hours or not. We can and will be prosecuted if partaking in such an activity (if caught). No matter what military branch, purchasing a prositute's "services" is not acceptable to military standards or moral. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen, granted, but it is entirely unacceptable. To rationalize this, think about the money that the DoD pays for members who get an STD from these types of activities. But it does happen. My two cents.
Are you one of those ****ers who was in the Middle East burning the Poppy fields? I have met one of those *******s and he said he was being sent there again sometime last year to burn more of them and I let him know how I felt. He was being a dick about it and when I said he was an ******* for doing it he said "You know you and your best friend should be shot in the head for what you say" and I said "And YOU'RE the ****er risking YOUR ass for MY right to say it, so if you don't like it, to ****ing bad".
That pretty well ended the conversation.
