missing files

Sorry to ask this, but were you logged in as THE ADMINISTRATOR or just another account with administrator rights?

I have been trying to change the delete permissions with the administrator account.

Is there a problem using the administrator account?

i know for security reasons that i should change the adminstrator user, to something else

Does this person know the administrator password???

Take her account and move it into a domain users group...this should remove her from...
Physically logging into the server locally...and having access to system files...depending on your setup

If you cannot change the permissions...take ownership of the files...

You can then give access as needed.

I would also change your admin password ...just to be sure

There's no problem with YOU using it :)
sometimes the administrator account is the better option when cleaning up, as it has all the relevent permissions by default, and even though you MAY have admin rights, there could be a conflict / denial in there.

If so, then you can do whatever you want, it will be to no avail. Change it NOW, on your OWN initiative ............. THEN you will see WHO calls to say "Hey! I cannot logon" :)

She is already on Domain Users group. Im sure that she doesn't have the administrator password. i audit all logon, and the administrator logins matches with mines, beside the admin password its quite big and complicated.
Im going look for a monitor tool, to log every changes on the system.
Something like Tripewire for linux

If the files are lost I can say it is possible to restore files, even if they were erased. If the data is important for you, you can perform this operation. Speaking about me, I used Undelete utility to recover lost files, and it worked perfectly. If you wish, you can also try it out.

im sorry i forgot to post here that i have done it, i used that security flaw.

I had done this once and i didn't renamed the logon.scr again, that's why i couldn't find that file, he was renamed :)
