DAmbed .. wot is wrong with a Mac?
I have 6300 for surfing suspect sites.. as for prgs.. well it is a little bit of hunt and capture.. bit like looking for any tools for PC's 7 or 8 years ago.. ahhhh when hacking was simple ;)
If A gurl was to give me a PC I would definitly take it as a proposition.. (I would need to do a **** load of explaining to Mrs Undies as to how come the new PC.. dunno how I would have a hope to explain the peripherial )Quote:

I'd say your lucky, I wish someone would give me a mac, I know PC's like the back of my hand, I would like to know more about mac's, thing is their so god damn expensive...
Now that we're on the subject I found this today:

Don't know if it's anything new but it seems pretty interesting. As you can see from what the site says it's still a little buggy, but it seems like a nice simulation a PC user can use to learn about mac...
" My boyfriend bought me a mac a cupple months back because he thought i should get a new computer."
"i can do to this dam thing to actually make it fun, or is it just a piece of junk i should just smile to my boyfriend about and pretend it's the best thing in the world?"
not for nothing but show some ****ing gratitude ... if not then give that thing to me and i'll send you a pair of Marc Jacobs shoes... maybe you won't consider those useless
I owned a Mac awhile back and it served it's purposes. It served them fairly well might I add, I just never got into studying the OS down hard enough (perhaps I should?).
I think that you have a very good point there Spyder~ the Mac is unfamiliar and different, but I see no reason why it should not be as much fun and use as a PC. You just need to get used to it.
I am sure that quite a few people would have a similar experience if I gave them a Windows 3.1x box, or a Linspire box?
:)
I don't know, I've used a Windows 3.1 (awhile back) AND Linspire before.. both seemed atleast somewhat familiar (as compared to a Mac atleast). But yeah, all it takes is some getting used to but if you fool around with it and take some time to learn it, you could probably make it into an awesome PC.
