I just had the "pleasure" of helping plan my brother's wedding.
My $0.02 is:
Organize, plan, schedule, budget.
Those were the four major aspects that we had problems with. You can disregard the last one if you're the daughter of a wealthy family. :D
Get plenty of rest the night before, I'd hate for you to be tired on one of the most important days of your life.

well it's going to be after he graduates from college which is in a year, then we plan on waiting a year till we have enough money saved up to have a decent wedding.One of the dates we are throwing around is June 21st.

If you take my advice, you will spend the money you saved on a decent honeymoon instead of a decent weeding .... you have the right to enjoy the money more than anyone else ....

yea well i could use all the tips for my wedding that u ppl are willin to give. i hav no clue what an rsvp list is by the way................
My mate had the best plan.
He proposed and a couple of days later went on a 4 month tour on a nuclear missle sub.
No contact with the outside world, couldn't get nagged or ordered around.
He came back and everything was organised.
You'd think he'd planned it.
