That was exactly why I was somewhat disrespectful of His Holiness a few posts back. We all knew and expected that he was "old school, hardline" but Torquemada and the Spanish Inquisition?Quote:

On the other hand......................we are talking about politicians here?.........more likely to take money out of the collection plate than put it in?....................and the Spanish Inquisition did employ some rather "interesting structured methodologies" (of which excommunication was not one) :D
Anyways I have to cut the Pope some slack....................I had £20 on him at 20:1.............thats around 700 bucks (US)
