As for the beer, not sure what they drink out there in Saskatchewan, but if you don't mind ales, see if you can get Molson Export
Better options for weather would be The Weather Network or Environment Canada's Weather Service (imperial units)
Oh, ewwww. Gawd. Pick a better beer please. Like one of the microbreweries (Breweries in Sask)Quote:

I would have mentioned Keith's or Olands, but I didn't think westerners (anybody west of Moncton NB) would have been forunate enough or actually worthy enough to get, what is arguably the best beer in Canada (with respect to Nfld's Blackhorse, of course,) you can import right?? :p
Or that truly Maritime beer of all time Schooner (some Acadians I know actually like this stuff) ;)
Leave your guns behind you wont need them over hear .... Do not be surprised if it feels like your still in the U.S.A. ....Quote:

Hey Hey,
It finally let me reply (first time was a mysql error.... second time it crashed my browser).
Anyways... As for the study... I read that when it was first published (it was one of my news articles on my homepage)... I don't really believe it. Something tells me if most of a society perceives themselves in a certain way... it's most likely true. I'm willing to bet that the majority of the study was done in Southern Ontario (Most people forget that the rest of Canada exists) and everyone knows that Southern Ontario is really only Little America... I've got no more respect for Southern Ontario (Even though I live here) than I do for the US... the people are just as bad. Anyways... that's my opinion and I'm sticking with it.. Go out East.. or out West (as far as Alberta... BC is just Little Asia and doesn't really count as part of Canada anymore either)... and you'll meet real Canadians.. Northern Ontario is a great place to start.... Good Ol' Fashion Country Goodness up there... people that can withstand a bit of climate change (We do have one of the broadest series of climate changes in the world)... It's a different, slower way of living up there... and it makes more sense.. People are good to each other.. decent and wholesome.. People barter up there still... and it's not always about a buck... It's about people and living.. (God I miss home).. It's also not about technology and for someone in IT that means moving away.... and it's a shame because going out West or out East are the only ways to find similar people... Canada may be one large country... but S.Ont, BC and Quebec don't display the truely Canadian attitude... Southern Ontarians are rude, people from Quebec are just asses and in BC... well I prefer to speak English or French since those are the national languages... but hey that's just me.
Now as for coming up and drinking beer... There's a small brewery that produces the best beer.. Northern Breweries... One of their two breweries operates out of my hometown, the other is 3.5 hours away. They used to produce Superior Lager which was the best beer you could drink... difficult to find outside Northern Ontario but still possible. Last year (2004) they were bought out and the names were changed.. Now it's Northern Premium Lager... Make sure you give it a try because you won't be disappointed.
Anyways... that's about it for my opinion... I gotta get going.. need to get a few hours sleep since I'm sick and need to be back at work tomorrow.
Peace,
HT
