It's ok, no need to apologize...
I'd be curious to know if the server that has the static address is also running Remote Access - if so, I'm wondering if when a remote user connects to the Remote Access server, the RAS is using DHCP to assign the remote client an IP address - the RAS becomes the middleman so to speak between your network and the remote client, which could explain why the MAC address of the server shows multiple times in the DHCP table (those entries are for the remote users) even though the server has a staticly assigned address.
This is just a guess - I use remote access but I have an assigned IP range for my remote users, so I'm not sure how using DHCP for the remote users would display in the DHCP table...
Ok well thanks for all of your help i fixed the peoblem I hope apperantly the system was running a few diffrent ras software when i disabled it all of the duplicates dissapeared and it should be fine because their is no reason their should have been running ras on their execpt for maby one thing but it shoud not be a problem ty.

Glad to hear you got it taken care of....
Me too thanks for all of your help. Their is just one thing I dont under stand is what was making all of the connections through the server because as far any any body knew it should not have been being used as an RSA.Quote:

If you can get access to the remote access logs, it'd probably be worth looking through to see if you can figure out if connections were being made to the network and possibly what activity was going on...
Sounds like a good idea I will check it out next time I get some free time at work.
