Edit: should note that the CERT site uses Norton for Antivirus examples, IMHO ignore the fact it is Norton and just read the principles, you can always go and get AVG or Avast for free.... ;)

Yes, CERT is one of the better org's for vendor-nuetral info, despite that Norton thing. I like their TIPS section a lot, and subscribe, even though it's usually below my level...I like to share their info often...

Best advice:
There is no single 100% solution.
All the protection in the world is worth nothing if the user believes that they are 100% protected.
Take all the advice given.. then remember the above.
