Complete waste of time, every time I have voted the other guy wins...... :mad: this has been going on since Stanfield (look that one up HT)................
All of these politicians are crooks, it's just that the Liberals are really bad at it and got caught, as for the Bloc, here's my question, how about the other "9" Provinces and Territories hold a referendum and have the question be plain and simple and say do you want Quebec to stay or go, sung to the tune of "should I stay or should I go", might be an interesting vote :-)
Harper is our Canadian version of the typical "Redneck", and the party he leads is not the "Conservatives" (that party died with Mulroney) it's the reform party in disguise, if they get in, it won't be Quebec seperating, it will be anything West of Ontario.....
I am disgusted with our politicians and may exercise my right to 'Not Vote", or if I do, I may bring my Houkah (don't bogart that joint).......
On a serious note, we truly are S&M in this country when it comes to our political leaders, we either love to recieve the pain or give it out. Why is it the party that wins, picks a dogs breakfast for a leader, I mean Chretian was embarrasing, Mulroney couldn't stop blowing Reagan, kim what's her name is a footnote, Martin is as trustworthy as a room full of lawyers, Trudeau was busy getting his wife laid by the stones and fuddle duddling himself, Joe who was who?, Turner was a real dead fish, okay have I left anyone out......God give us the strength to quietly commit Hari kari one more time.....

You can't tell me you honestly believe that? Canada does not need a military presence in it's cities... disaster relief... that's a joke... This is Canada... I could see some countries need this but not us.... Have you seen our military... I don't think we've got enough soldiers that they'd make a difference anywhere... Besides.. we help each other here... that's enough... I spent one Christmas pushing a dozen cars out of the snowbank outside our house... during Christmas dinner.... We'd just put down the silverware and go help them out.. no questions asked... I've seen 5-10 cars stop here when someone is stuck to push them out.... An old lady fell on the side one.. my roommate and I ran over, 5 other people ran with us.... we ended up driving her home.... Harper wants the military there for one reason... because he knows if he wins that there will be a revolt.. That a civil uprising will happen.... He wants the military ready to control and sedate the population...
The last thing we need to do is be spending money on the military but he wants to increase military spending for next year.. to what we'd spend over the next 5 years or close to it... that's ridiculous.... and definately not needed...

You know what, I hope Harper does win now, and puts a soldier on every doorstep, maybe even institute mandatory enlistment for anyone between the ages of 18 and what's your age again? maybe a couple of years in the Army will straighten you out, teach you some discipline, maybe even help teach you to show some respect for others.
