Morgan i think one, or both, of us is a bit confused. I know hardware wont change the crashing game crap, but what i am looking for is a way to check system performance while in game, and without crashing it, so i can better see what needs upgrading in order to eliminate the ingame slowness.Quote:

you can use "performance" from administrative tools to record system activity. You can choose which indicator you want to record . After start recording, play sometime with no other programs and play with "multitasking".Quote:

However, usually those games that run on full-screen tend to use all available cpu time (spin loops to increase performance) and they are allways affected by other programs in background even if you have 10Ghz processor :)
awesome this is just what i needed. One question about it though. I opened it on my pc here at work to see what it was all about, and it seems to only record about 15-20 seconds of data and then goes back over it. Think of one of the heart rate monitors, when it gets to one end it starts over at the far left writing over the previous graphed data. I would need at least 5 min of recorded data to come up with any sort of conclusive analisys. Is there a way for me to change how long each 'pass' takes?Quote:

Yes the bluepoint is female and that was actually one of the names i was throwing around. But the question remains HOW did you know. I am almost posative that i didn't mention that i was getting cats, although i know i mentioned that my mom and aunt both breed siamese. Heck until 2 weeks ago i didn't even know i was getting cats. My old cat princess had to be put to sleep two weeks ago due to severe kidney failure, and my two new cats were aquired within 2 hours notice because a fellow breeder friend of my mom's was in town for a cat show and needed to unload the two cats that i ended up with. I found out abot them on monday during my lunch break and picked them up after work. Are you stalking me?????????

Edit: While i love talking about my cats, Nihil's stalking, and my video game i guess we should try to get back on topic here. Here is what i still need informational wise:
Performance in Admin tools is nice but the amount of graphed data is o nly about a 20 second look. Is there anyway i can make it last longer? And if not is there any other program that i can use to track my pc's performance while i try the game solo and with other things running. Please remember that once the game is running i cannot minimize it to start anything without crashing the game.
