Yes, I like the tool myself (which is why I recommended it)
Like I said, it is from the MoBo manbufacturer themselves, so they know all the proper settings to "read" the data and use the circuitry.
I would expect it to work with ASRock boards as well as they are another trade name for Asus covering their mid-range and economy boards.............obviously, those may not have all the sensors and circuitry of the flagship products.

i think when you post abut your problem with video card that i recomendend you pc probe as you stated that you have asus motherboard..
to configure its very simple and probably most important to set a treshold for cpu and motherboard temperature.just go to settings and click monitoring and set whatever you feel confortabe with.
with your amd2000 with no fans case i would set it to 50C.
You can even record your temerature so like that you monitor if anyithing change on daily basis.go to setting>history>start recording.
