Ok, so i did a few of the class's at CCNA or whatever it is. I learned alot and i have a question regarding Firefox.
So a port address makes it so you can have 2 different browsers on different sites.
I.E. One on Antionline and another on myspace.com
With firefox you can tab does this mean that it assignes different port address's for every tab?
Can only 1 person on the WWW have that particular port address?
And if you visit the same web page in 2 different tabs
I.E - 2 www.myspace.com's
Does it still have to have different port address's?
the PC will 'bind' one port to one application, in this case it will 'bind' one port to my space, and another to AO.
there are 65 536 ports, 2 to the 16th power, so it is unlikely to run out of options
the reasons for doing this are so that you get replies from AO onto the page you have opened FOR AO
otherwise you would end up with all data coming back to the PC, and all going to the same window, irrespective of content
on another level

So, it works for basically organization? It organises where everything is going, and makes sure it doesnt end up in a jumbled mess.
