Ok i went and bought a crossover cable before i read your replies....when i put the crossover cable in and enabled ICS the internet connection stopped dropping on PC-A (PC to modem not modem to internet) ....and then i went ahead and did al those steps on the client computer and so on and i got this (screenshot)....but the internet is still not working on the client PC....
Maybe the client isn't getting a name server. When I ran ISC, I manually
entered the name server, used a static IP address on the clients
and didn't use the DHCP. Can you ping sites by numerical address?
Nope. Ok i just restarted my computers, and now i find this weird, i can't access the internet on PC-A untill I enable the "Internet Gateway" connection on PC-B.....and still no internet on PC-B...you guys could probably fix this is no time here, I'm just not big into networking...Quote:

and Do i need to edit some options in IE to make this work or something? Or do i have to dial into PC-A or ?

is an optional feature you enabled when you set up the server

So after hours and hours of checking my settings and all that i looked for an ICS application and found Sygate Home Network....played around with the settings and now its working fine...thank you all for helping me on this one...
