doctors have to disclose their findings to your insurance company and they (the ins. cos.) have no oath of secrecy. they owe their alligance to our employers
Its also my understanding that physiologists can be prosecuted if you threaten physical harm to others or confess to being a pedophilic and they do not tell the authorities. It is not clear if they have to gauge if you are real threat or just something you've pondered.
From my prespective if you want privacey tell no one.

Along those lines we do have "notifiable diseases" which the doctors have to report to the authorities.
