That is what seems to be the intelligence we are getting. This looks like around three cells who were planning to take out 9 or more wide-bodied transatlantic flights at the peak of our vacation season. I believe that would produce a death toll greater than 4,000?

I have also heard that the Pakistani Intelligence Services were involved.

A thousand years ago.. people heard about the bad events days, weeks even years later.. the mass impact was very minimal.. today an event can be beamed world wide with in an hour of first report.. mass impact.. this is where the modern terrorist gains their power.. kill a few.. terrorise millions....
As for valuing human life more..hmm so the media tells me .. I personaly think we value our fellow human being less now than any other time in history.. just listen to the words we use when we talk about the events
