You might like to check for a Firefox update. It might help, but there are also some security issues to fix:

How much memory have you got? I do seem to remember comments about it being an issue with earlier Fedora and Firefox?

GNU GRUB
I have 1GiB of memory DDR2. I tried installing the update for Firefox when I went to the website but it froze again. But it seems to have an issue only when on the network, I think. When it's busy, then I open up another file, the window behind the active folder turns white, everything on it like dissapeares and all I see is a blank window (sort of like what happens with Windows OS when a program crashes). The same with the Internet Browser, I click on a link and a lot of it turns like a purple color and I'm not able to see the text or anything. ???
I am currently downloading the updates for Fedora, I hope that helps.

Well I finished installing the updates for Fedora Core 5, and my computer hasn't frozen. I hope the updates fixed the problem. But now in my boot loader (GNU GRUB) it has 2 differnt Fedora Core 5 options and of course the WIndows XP option. Does anyone know why? Is that going to be a problem?

Probably cause your kernel updated to a newer version. Everytime you update the kernel it will give a boot option of booting into it or previous versions. I've been perpetually stuck on 2.6.16 b/c of compatibility issues with a few programs and drivers...so when I get to that screen I just scroll down until I get to the most recent 2.6.16.
