New Vehicle

Personally I care most about gas mileage and how long a car can last. Chrysler (dodge, etc) do not make cars that a very good quality and rarely last for long. I have a 02 corolla le and I get 43 mpg highway and like 32 city. Not to mention you can put 200k plus on them easily with out any major repairs. My father used to only buy American cars until this year when he recently bought a new corolla also. I personally witnessed 4 GM's barely last over 100k.

So my advice is this. Go for MPG and Quality and you cant go wrong. Even a camry get great gas mileage cuz they are 4 cyl's this year and the prius is an amazing car IMO.

My camry is a 6 cylinder...and when I first got it ........it replaced a POS cavalier...

the V6 camry used the same amount of gas as the 4 cylinder cavalier.

Next car I buy will be another Camry......... hybrid

still got a few years left on my 99.....

The Dodge truck is GREAT for towing...as I believe all
NA trucks are...thats why we are looking to a GM for replacement

We had a 4 runner in the early 90s...blew the engine twice towing a boat

Well, tonight was the night. I went to the VW dealership on the way home and they didn't have the car I wanted. So, I used my mobile google local (thanks blackberry!) and called another dealership not too far away. I stopped home first to print out all the goodies, blue book info, credit reports, car pricing from several places, etc. I put it all nicely into my binder and headed up.

When I arrived, they had the one I wanted parked out front and waiting for me. They tossed me the keys and told me to enjoy. I asked them if anyone was coming along with me or if they wanted my ID, etc. They said no and told me to take as long as I wanted. They recommended some tight windy roads along with some interstate driving so I could get a feel for the car. So, I head out. I drive it for about 30-40 minutes and then go back to the dealership.

We play the numbers game and I kiss my jeep goodbye.

I got a 2007 Jetta 2.0T (automatic) with the sport stick, or whatever they call it. It is black with tan leather. Man, that car's got some speed to it! I'd take a picture, but it's dark out.

The worst part of it! I can't drive it tomorrow... I have to take my girls car to the shop. :( Oh well, tomorrow is my last day and then I'm off for a week! I'm sure I'll drive it plenty on vacation.

Someone with lower back problems. And if you have back problems,

My aunt won a two-year lease on a Lincoln MKX and absolutely loves it!

I am in the market for a car too
but in the UK we don't get the option of a 40 min unescorted test drive

I have a Volvo V40 [estate / station wagon] bought it because they are so safe and reliable :eek:
had to spend over £10 000 in repairs in the last two years
new engine - clutch - gearbox - discs [all round] - tyres [all round] then I got hit by a truck .........................

am looking for another estate / station wagon, as I like the practicality {Yep, I AM that old :p]
but once I started to look

I picked it up Saturday
and it is a real blast

lots of mph
just gotta figure a way to get the flys of my teeth, as I can't stop grinning when I'm out on it :D

The other one is a 600cc Norton................... I only used it for my Granny's shopping, officer :D

V6 getting better mileage then a I4 is just more proof American cars cant keep up.
