Edit This is going to sound dumb, but how do you unsubscribe and resubscribe?
Go to the thread --> Thread Tools --> Unsubscribe
Menu bar (yellow) far left:
User CP (then:)
List Subscriptions (option on the left)
Subscribed threads in folder
select (check) the thread you want
use the dropdown menu and select the delete/unsubscribe option
Click the "Go" button

Done it! I've unsubscribed then subscribed, now I just need someone to post something in the thread ..... any takers?

Many thanks .... and I only got one notification. At the moment anyway. It's literally just landed in gmail - I'm not sure whether the duplicate ones both came at once or spread out more.
