JPnyc it seems that we are victims of our own success?
:D
Maybe we need an "authorised Trolls" forum? .................... I wonder who should moderate it?

I'm working on 2 things for the forums; 1 will boost performance, the other, traffic. Just taking a bit of time, is all.
You're going to upload porn and some more RAM?
You misspelled "Pharmacy", Gore. :p
Chit, doesn't anyone play real music anymore? You know, music made with guitars and drums and a bass? Guess I'm an old-timer, but I don't think I'll ever get used to this electronic stuff. Back in the day, we had bands like Joy Division and Kraftwerk doing their thing, but it was too artsy for me. Hard to beat the hard-core punk stuff back then. The Ramones, Dead Boys, Butthole Surfers, Johnny Thunders...they rocked. Best show I ever saw was the Clash, February 13th, 1979, at the Cleveland Agora. He-heh, they opened with "I'm So Bored With The USA". Hard to believe that was almost 30 years ago.

I make that too:
I have an Ibanez Bass and amp for doing bass lines, I use a REAL guitar whenever I record anything like that which is why none of that has any, as I don't want to use a machine for something like that, but for drums, I have no shame in that, drums are expensive, loud, and hard to do at 3 AM when you finally have a chance to record as the people around the area would call the cops on you, and at the end of a recording you can actually hear me say "**** the cops!" because we were only using a computer to record.
I covered We are 138 by The Misfits by myself and same for Blitzkrieg Bop, as I can play both on just about any instrument.
Back when I was also just using a crappy pc mic to record, didn't have any software for it other than Orio Pro the demo version, so I used the mic to record that too.
But not I record and export to wav then encode as an MP3.
Believe me, techno and punk share something. For example, Rammstein are HUGE punk fans, and a lot of members were in a band called Feeling B, and that is one good band.
Lords of Acid from Belgium, used to play Punk too.
So techno and Industrial, well, it's the new punk. Sort of. Of course we still have punk bands, but not as many. Leftover Crack, INDK, and so on, but if you ask techno and Industrial bands what they listen to it's always The Misfits of The Ramones.
There is a DVD called Rammstein - LichtSpielHaus, in that hidden on the DVD is Rammstein covering Pet Cemetery as a tribute to Joey Ramone, Till of Rammstein did backing vocals with Jerry Only of The Misfits. Dee Dee Ramone was on drums, and Flake, the keyboard player for Rammstein was on vocals.
It was amazing to see my fav bands on stage at once....Imagine that for me, seeing Rammstein and The Misfits and The Ramones on stage all at once..... Man what I'd do to see that show.
Not to mention Robo from Black Flag was doing drums for The Misfits and was doing them when I went to see them a few years ago :)
The only reason the stuff I'm making right now is mostly tech, is because I don't have a guitar or bass, so I use my laptop to make everything.
Dolphin Code: 136 :booty:
That's actually intentional :) Gives it that "funny farm" vibe and stuff. Or I can use it as an excuse to act like an animal lol.Quote:
