"Ghost in the darkness" and "Life of David Gale".
hrm...much to hard to decide on one. Ok, well I guess my #1 is...
Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Couple other additional picks...
Dumb and Dumber is a classic great one too.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109686/
Enemy of the State ...just because of the technology
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120660/
Ack...there are so many to list.
Mine's Das Boot - http://imdb.com/title/tt0082096/
"Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb"
(1964) Stanley Kubrick
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057012/
For the Kubrick fans out there. Have you seen the new Kubrick Collection DVD Set?
Stanley Kubrick Collection
There's so many good flicks. Some of my recent favs are:
Office Space
The Color of Paradise (Persian flick -- subtitles)
The Bourne series.
If you liked Das Boot, check out Stalingrad from the same director (subtitles). Also there's a movie out about the making of Dr. Strangelove, might be on the Kubrick DVD. It's a good background on the movie.
Also, check out Little Buddha, one of Keanu Reeves more obscure offerings. It's a nice offering largely about Tibetan Buddhism.
It's difficult for me to pick my favorite. However, many people above have already posted some of my favorites. Usual Suspects, Boondock Saints.
One that has not yet been mentioned is Donnie Darko.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0246578/
I really like movies that make you think.
Momento is another one that is a must see.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0209144/
Das Boot...see Negs link...
and Sand Pebbles... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060934/
Favorite film! Hard choice there.
Cant pick one but probably bladerunner, LOTR, Seven, Blairwitch1, Starship troopers, Eternal sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Dalek you only like das boot because it has a submarine in it :)).
