Hi Boogymantroy,
Actually I am an agent of the Japanese government engaged in a cover up operation.
This is the real reason:
five cables
all geographically close
it's all a commie plot
or that geo political bull crap will turn out to be not so shy of th ereason after all
deny information = deny power
Aww h3ll Nihil. You're killin me man. Made me laugh so loud I snorted and other people in the office started lookin at me. LOL
Hi Boogymantroy,
Latest intelligence reports lead me to believe that they might have had an accomplice?

On a serious note, I am eagerly waiting to see what the real cause(s) were. I know it seems too much to be a coincidence, but these things do happen. For instance 2007 saw the worst floods in the UK for 150 years............ and that was in a year that was the hottest since records began!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, OMG man. You are making me want to visit the UK just to hang out in the comedy clubs. D@mn you got a sense of humor. Something along the lines of you mentioning the floods. Do you think that things are getting worse world wide or that we have become more aware?
Well, I believe that climatic change, in particular cycles do happen.........hell we have had Ice Ages.............. even "little" ones :)

I believe that we are just more aware, and in particular we now have a database to compare to and our measurements and measuring techniques are that more accurate.
There is a lot of information on current capabilities, predictive modelling techniques and so on here:

I can even look at satellite images:

The problem is that these changes take place over a very large timescale compared to that for which we have reliable data.
Abit late but thank you for the shark blogs Nihil - enjoyed the laugh :)
