With VPN features built in to most SOHO routers, this is the easiest way to deal with the issue. This is the way I go in order to get to my boxen farm at home. Simplicity is bliss.

Would the port number change only be for additional security; Noone would see the default port open externally so noone would bother brute force? Primary security would just be the username/password ?? <-- CuriousityQuote:
