Yeah, where else can you read about someone who bans your from IRC, just because of what you wrote in a thread. Not only that, he even banned himself. Why? Because he wanted to see if he could. I feel bad for a couple of other people like uraloony who got caught in the crossfire. He got banned, just because he has an lo in his name.

I joined the chatroom after JP had been unbanned, and he didn't seem to be angry, which is something he would be if he was kicked from his own service for no good reason. But thinking that the person signed in was acting suspiciouslly un-JP-ish and may possible be a nick-hijacker is a good reason...

I had ops removed apparently because i abused them now i had no face to face complaint which i would take and turn around whatever was thought to be wrong with my opping. Same as if i had warning from xy before he removed my ops. Well the point of this post was to say "Roguespy it is obvious what you did!!!(incase you may need reminding: You seem to have complained to xy about me under different aliases.) Personally i think this is unfair and unjust! I will be pointing JP and xy towards this thread so that they can see your suspicous behavior!!

I'd say it has a lot more to do with poor anger management, no self-control (or a severe lack of), age-bracketing (teenagers/college students), and overall the I'm-behind-a-keyboard-and-monitor-that-allows-me-to-say-whatever-the-fsck-I-want mentality that seems to plague some people. I do not believe for a minute that some of these people who constantly disagree/cuss out others just because of opinions (watch me get negative points for this opinion of mine, rofl) act the same way to people in real life. As for me, the way I type is the way I talk and this *is* the way I interact with people, through a relatively controlled overall mannered way that gets a lot of results, most positive at that. Some people could take a lot of lessons concerning online-etiquette, something that's been around for a lot longer than some of them.Quote:

But this is just MHO, and as far as Ops are concerned, they're like immortals/implementors on MUDS, where you can be liked, liked but feared (like I was), or feared, or hated, or hated and feared. Liked-but-feared is the best position, I think, because people didn't screw around with the rules. I was nice and talked to everyone that needed something, but I was fair and I'd punish my best friend if they broke a rule, regardless of their personal status with me. You tend to get more 'loyalty' and people tend to listen to you more when you have that mentality where no favoritism is shown to any particular person or group.
