I think the point is being missed..
The guy is not saying linux is bad.. he is saying, We all know linux is good. Linux is stunning at many tasks, but we should all want it to be on as many desktops as windoz and that requires the sleeping mass's top be able to cope. At the moment your aunt can can buy a PC and get to grips with most of the problems mentioned (for good or bad microsoft hide a lot from the user) If steps are made towards fixing these small issues then you get another 10-20% of the User market which is good for eveyone
