I use many nicks, but here on AO: Neel is just my name, Kwiep is "Brabants" (dutch dialect of the region I've been born) it means something like weirdo/stupid... something between that. I used it because people called me like that for a while because of my weird humour sometimes and the weird style I used as a "blackhat" (past tense!) for leaving my "traces" (as some kind of... I don't know... like you see in movies... pulling the eyes out and put stones in the skull), wich also is the weird humour kind of thing...
My nick..... oh boy, here we go.
Well, as a kid when i was like..... uuhhmm.... ok lets skip that part. I am a small guy, and people used to call me "dwerg", which is dwarf in Dutch. Then, back at school, i got sick of it. So I.... made people not saying that anymore. It worked only partially, everyone stopped saying that except some close friends of mine back in the day. They started calling me "Zieke Dwerg", which means Sick Dwarf after that. Then the name died out, and it faded away into history.
Untill about a year back. I was going out partying, and got into a fight. The fight was kinda... bloody and I got busted. Then some guy re-invented my old nick after that. I dont know, im still small I guess. I've seen people I dont know even calling me that. Oh well, Im using it online from the moment i got to the internet. Its actually "Sick Dw@rf", as im registered under on my own site, but I didn't think that AO would accept that so I registered under "SickDwarf".
Damn..... now that i'm thinking about it.... that name goes a long way back...

Why do we have to have an nick is far more important then what the meaning behind the nick is.I mean why cant we have an HEX or Ascii.Literature by meanings have been in to identyfying things and thoughts of an free expression.Is that why we have names or is that something we want to artigulate our selfs in to be what we want in by meaning society factor.Our physical emotion is one strong unlogical behaivor that we want to express in meanings to deflect something that we want to follow an irrational behaivior of need .We are only thu humans still with shared common intrest to be accepted by what we are.We want to deflect our deepest source of needs to contriumplate with our feelings to be accepted in the group society where we artiguale with our selfs.

I'm Irish. Back in high school, the stupid jocks started calling me Red. "Whoa, it's Red! Dude, Red, wassup!" Crap like that. It stuck, and boy were they pissed. My friends took thier insult and turned it into what everyone knows me by. As for the Fed part, well it rhymes with Red... you do the math.

I chose my name because I zag to a different direction than the masses. I have never followed the leader so to speak, so most people would zig a direction, I zag. Strange I know but that is the motiviation for the nick.
mine comes from my favorite band hatebreed, and the 2000 is because thats when i started getting in to computers. pretty simple.

and why Undertaker? . it has connections with my surname (Hurse - Aussi re-spell for Hearse) but not how I got the nick..
I used to drive Rally.. and I had a habit of needing to overtake other competitors. now many of the track were not setup for passing.. no problem.. many of our bush roads have drainage channels on either side called Table-drains. Well these are wide enough for a car to drive down.. your getting the picture?.. and because of the dust I would appear to have come from underneth the other car.. Overtaker is Undertaker.. simple..
I did drive a Black Station Wagon at onetime and I had a larger than normal tool/test equipment and parts box in the back..

I don't know if you know those little candies called kiss-cool (I'm not sure they sell them elsewhere than in France). The particularity of those candies is their advertisements really laughing. There had been 2 periods: one with strange stories of a man dissembles to a bunny who is victim of the double kiss-cool effect (the first: it's fresh, the second: he is pursued by hunters and by crazy doctors). And the other with some little creatures living in a world of kiss-cools.
I downloaded one day the skin for Quake III of those creatures, I played with. And my friends named me quickly KissCool.
As I liked the kiss-cools and their advertisements, I kept the name.
well my nick comes from an ancient god of light.in greek and egyptian mythology they called him amon-ra,but also you can find the same name in black magic.amon is one of the 79 princes of hell.well anyway,that's the only nick i use and i use it since i was 11.i can't recall why i started calling myself that way....

when I first came online... 9 or 10 years ago.. i found PowWow for those of you that remember it.. i was Lithium after the nirvana song. when i discovered IRC I became TopGear because I was playing topgear 2 for the SNES at the time.. then in gr 9.. people started calling me Heavy T (My name is Tyler) because Heavy D was popular at the time.. this was shortened to HT.. And everyone else who knew me called me regz (my last name is Reguly) so i just stuck the two together when I needed a name.. HT_Regz at first. then HT Regz and then HTRegz
mine is simply an anagram of the word anagram.

My nick, He||sFurY, originated in the chatrooms on Chatnet, Dalnet, And the old msn network...I used to ummm lets say protect certain rooms that I grew accustomed to visiting and for some obscure reason, He||sFurY turned out to be a nick that all the " packet bombers", nukers etc...Got to know as someone who will virtually drive one crazy lol.

during my first install of linux, i had to create a user name. Now my old name being "pifg" didnt seem very fitting, so i thought about a more solid name. I didnt want anything above 5 letters, and i thought of solid... so i came up with rock. then i came up with the E for the computer i used to use, an E-Machine - dont ask... so then i had e-rock, which eventually turned into erok, now er0k... because it looks like a house.. look at it closer if you dont believe me :D

I chose my handle a few years ago because I used to love being a spy, and listening to people's conversations. I would observe everything around me, to a point where I bought equipment to listen in on cellular phone conversations. After a few months, I got busted, and after bragging to my friends, the cops confiskated my equipment. I decided to just stop, and after a year or two buying that sort of equipment became illegal.
But I still loved being considered as someone who just was observing you from the shadows. I mean it might sound kind of childish, I know. But I never wanted really to be the center of attention, just to observe. And coinsidentally I loved computers. So my handle, the stalker. And to be a stalker, you have to move silently. I guess thats where I got silentstalker from.

well, um.. Tool is probably my favourite band. i bought Lateralus and listened to it excessively. the time signatures for the title track is based on the mathematical calculation of a spiral. i love mathematics, and this song is just amazing. i decided i wanted to come up with a second alias in case my usual one was ever taken, so i changed a couple of the letters because i thought i was being clever.
