Check your history worm wood. We knew that Japan favord a suprise attack, we then spent a lot of time insulting japans honor and makeing public clames that they couldn't reach us in Perl Hardor. We then removed all of our aircraft carriers and most of the fighters from perl harbor leaving it basicly undefended. So we left ourself exposed t oa very honor obbsessed country whose honor we insulted.
Occupieing a country whith a hostal populace isn't wise either but we seem to have no problem with that.
