Blasphemy! Guinness makes you strong, makes you cooler than everybody else. Though I have never had a good pint of Guinness outside of Ireland, funny thing is when I went to Spain and the guy at the bar put the little shamrock in my pint so I had to drink it despite it being a muck pint!Quote:
Guiness looks like coffee and tastes like crap IMHO

I would sugest staying away foprm the bad beer. My vote is for chima, and when I can't find that (stupid us distributers running out) I go with either Front Street Breweries chocolate stout or Govners Brewery Irish cream stout (both of those are microbrews, front street is in Davanport IA but will ship goveners is in Chicago Il.)
Becks is good! (Drinking some right now) Brewed under the German Purity Law of 1516. (Crazy Germans have laws about their beer) ;)
The Germans take their beer laws very seriously, a six of Becks is always a good bet. I was a member of the UK Campaign For Real Ale back in the day, traveling the countrside checking off brews and pubs, they take it seriously as well.
Red Stripe = massive brain cell existance erasure which spirals into a pounding 2am headache.
The unfortunate thing about good microbrews is the local distribution area, with also makes traveling worth while just for the local fare.
About RoadClosed's post about Monty Python: Monty Python is extremely funny (although I don't drink beer) and I appreciate the humor by RoadClosed.
What I don't get though is how it goes from th aclu to guinness and beer
That is a real Beer, Holy Grail Ail (ale).
I am guilty for redirecting the thread because, someone suggested talking about something else so I voted beer. The thread went kind of st(ale) anyway. :)
