ahhhh.. darn it.. I wasn't going to respond to this thread. I thought at first it was counter-productive to what this site is supposed to be about.. although at first, it seems a fun thing to do to take our minds off of things, imho, in the end it's an ego/popularity contest that goes nowhere..
Haven't you noticed that most of the "real contenders" haven't responded ?
(sorry to the few that did.. it's not a jab at anyone)
imho, if you're going to do something, do it right... take a cue from the grammys (no ies on plural for grammy, i hope.. hehe) and add a few catagories..
my suggestions in order of importance :
1. the most security knowledgable person (male/female -- or not)
2. the veteran.. long term commitment to this site.. (male/female -- or not)
3. the most dedicated to this site.. (male/female -- or not)
4. the most helpful member.. (male/female -- or not)
5. the most promising "newbie"..
Might I also suggest that you think about keeping the nominations open a bit longer ?
one final note.. thanks for the nomination Jehnny but I'd like to withdraw my name.
there is no way in "heck" that I deserve to be on this list..
