Yes MsMittens, that is happening to me also.
Attachments in PMs are fixed.

As someone suggested, I'm changing all thread-titles dealing with bugs that have been fixed to *Fixed/Solved* ThreadTitle.
I'm not closing those threads, though, since you never know :D
At the bottom of the main page, there is a link to "View more active topics" I am only seeing 7 topics.
Is this a problem?
Steve

Up to 15 now - Something got reset recently?
/edit again
Went up to around 30 or so - I close down Moz, go and do a bit of shopping and when I return the list is back down to 15 - I'm very confused. Anyone else experiencing this?
steve -- the "View active topics" search is specific to your user info. It queries for threads which contain posts newer than the time set as your "last visit" time. Your last visit info changes when you log out and back in again. IMO, it should also change when you restart your browser, but it's unclear to me if that's happening or not ... have to dig around some more to figure that out.
My guess is that the change you saw from 7 to 15 to 30 active topics reflected threads having been posted to between one time you hit the 'active topics' link and the next time. The second change in # of active topics (from 30 back to 15) happened because your last visit timestamp changed.
The active topics search is working as it was intended to. I don't know if that's the most useful way for it to behave, but since it's not broken, it doesn't count as a bug. After I get all the bugs fixed in the new code, we can consider changes that should be made to the board's functionality.

DjM and I figured out the problem he was having with threads not being marked "read". It had to do w/mysterious changes to his profile that he wasn't aware of. So that bug can be crossed off the list now :D

Okay, thanks for the info...Quote:

Must have been broken before, since every time I visted it it showed hoards of threads - But how you describe it seems a much more sensible way for it to work.
Steve
So where did the "expand posts" button go? On various machines I can't expand any posts and therefore I cannot read them... Maybe I should come back later. Can it be that both my personal machine and every machine at MSJC aer broken????? Seems unlikely.
I know this is minor, but you still can't use an apostrophe in your photo description.
I posted a new thread about this here in this forum, but I'll bring it up here to.
The user cdkj is unable to post anything. The post reply and quote checked buttons are missing. Also if she scrolls to the "post a quick reply" box nothing is there. There is no box to post in.
One other thing I might add Just today I have been unable to assign antipoints using the opera browser. I can click on the link but nothing happens. I can assighn AP's in IE though so its not to big of a deal.
I love waking up to a new slate of bugs ... I'll be looking into all this stuff today.
About the expand post buttons -- some OS and browser info would be useful.
I posted about cdkj's problem in the thread about it. Please look there for continued discussion of that issue.
Problems in Opera ... I'll have to install it so I can test that. It won't be first on my list, since the problem doesn't exist in other browsers. Does Opera have popup supression functions? If so, you'll need to set AO as ok for popups in order for APs to work. I haven't used Opera for a while, but I saw that same behavior in Netscape until I added this site to my list of popup exceptions. Let me know about that.
- h
Hey thats what we are here for right? I mean without us you wouldn't have any bugs to fix. lol
About the unable to assign AP's you right. I forgot that I told opera to suppress popups the other day. Its going once again now. lol
Thanks for your help.
I dont know if this has been mentioned but the Forward this PM to another user Graphic is missing in PM. Minor bug though since the linnk still works. (In Mozilla browser)
It's back :)Quote:

I read over this thread quickly to see if it was posted here. Didn't see it ,so here it goes.
I and other members too, have problems inserting the signature. Also when I'm in the signature-editing-window , I can't upload any images to make that sig. It are little ones so it can't be the picture size.
Thnx.
I believe the signature image option has been disabled. Or at least you can't save any images. You can still link to other images. The script to upload images is no longer available.
I originally posted this in the other thread about 'site upgrade....' but decided that here might be a better place.Quote:

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE UPGRADE.
I noticed that a lot of bux got fixed.
Still a couple of glitches.
The member 'Striek' had no 'title' below his avatar, this has been fixed. Perhaps now Juridian can get rid of his 'eternal newbie' status.
Another glitch is that the 'most downloaded files attached by user' still does not show the 'Most downloaded' but the 'Latest attached' attachments.
Yet another, The pumpkin smile and the pacman smilie still dont work.
But like I said, congratulations on the upgrade, it looks like even that printthread bug was fixed ;)
edit.
One last thing: The Humonguous Signature Image Bug.
This made me think of another bug (it is in this post, can you guess what it is ? :) ) .
It is the 'Originally posted' bug. As you can see in the above quote there is a hyperlink to the original post from which was quoted, it leads however nowhere.

minor bug?
Under security forums, a new forum, Spyware/Adware doens't show up on the main page.
It is categorized as a security discussion... so shouldn't it show on the main page?
If not, then re-categorize it?
Thanks! :D
See this thread regarding signature images.
Juridian's user title problem has been fixed.
I'll look into the other new bugs listed here, and continue posting my progress to this thread, or to other threads where the bugs have been reported.

I fixed :1pumpkin: and
::1pacman

mnstrgrl, did you change the formatting of the page? I'm noticing an extra bar above each post now..
MsM, I have noticed that the image in your sig is always broken now. I thought mnstrgrl had all the image bugs worked out.Quote:

ACK!!!! Where's Cartman!!?!!??!
You bastards!!! You killed Cartman!!!!
:D
Cartman's been resurrected :)
Also, I got rid of the extra row that was showing up above each post.
- h
It looks like users with a status of 'banned', still have this extra row above their posts.Quote:

It does not show up on any other page and it does not accept a 'new thread' even if you handcraft the url ;)
edit:
I see the "Originally posted here by blah" bug has been fixed :D
This may be a related bug to that someone else has posted. I suspect that some of the scripts have been removed (all those errors that people get when posting) and it's having this effect.
Anyways, basically when I've gone to change my signature and hit Edit Signature I end up with at the appropriate page but the signature is missing. I have my little Cartman icon but the rest isn't on the page for me to edit. I have to view source of an existing post, copy, paste and then alter as needed.
The Project Wargame forum is set to be inactive (so it shouldn't show up in the forums list) and not to accept new posts. There are a few forums like that, which you can still get to if you put the forum ID into a URL, but which you shouldn't be able to navigate to through links on the site. I don't think this is a big problem. If we wanted to make threads from a forum completely inaccessible, we'd delete them rather than just turning the forum off.Quote:

I fixed the signature editing form problem. There was also a problem with uploading images to use in sigs, which has been fixed.

This might be a problem from the upgrade or it could have been done purposely, but when I followed the link to "How to be a Profiler" from the main page under the Misc. Resources box, it took me to the page just fine, but it seems like every link on that page is dead. The only one I got to work was the back to antionline and the one to email JP. I don't know if these pages were purposely deleted, accidentally deleted, or just moved, but it would be nice to have them back so I can read this information if this is at all possible. Thank you.
The profiler pages are back.
- h
wow awesome response time on that one mnstrgrl..
here's another dead link..
under this link
http://www.antionline.com/fight-bac...ing_Systems.php
there's another called "AntiSearch Advisories Archive "
it's a no go..
when you get the chance mnstrgrl.. could you add this one back to the main page ?
http://www.antionline.com/tools-and-toys/
I can't find the "AntiSearch Advisories Archive" stuff anywhere on the server. Did this section exist before the upgrade?
About the tools and toys link being removed, intmon already explained what's going on w/that for you here. No need to ask again.
- h
mnstrlgrl: this google cached page might help
No, I mean I can't find http://www.antionline.com/links/Comp...y/Advisories/. The directory doesn't exist. That's why I asked if the link was good before -- it doesn't look like that path existed previous to the upgrade.

I may have overlooked something in this thread, but I am still unable to upload a site picture. I have tried multiple browsers and the photo is both the correct size and file type.
FrameWork -- are you still seeing the parse error? I just went through the photo upload process w/no problems. What's the nature of the error you're getting?
