I think from some of the replies you gotten, you should be able to google/search for the exact info you orginally wanted, and I am surprized, that you haven't to this point found it on your own. Given your statements about searching for information about the problems you are facing.
I would like to suggest that this forum is not the proper place for a discussion about 1) the status of your mental health, or 2) an addition blog/journal about the ongoing effects you are experiencing, save that for your blog on joeuser.com.
I would suggest that now that you have a good place to start searching for solutions, let this tread die without anymore attempts to justify your statements. More discussion will just drive this far of topic.

ok the whole HRF (or whatever TLA) issue am staying well away from as i dont know enough about the person situation to comment.
But i would suggest with regards to your computer to take the following steps
You can not be sure of anything on the PC at the moment and are having problems downloading
try going to a cybercafe - download :
AVG - Antivirus
Outpost Firewall
The Cleaner
burn to cd and then do a full format of home PC and all partitions
put a known clean install of OS (winME etc) onto computer
install the programs you downloaded form cybercafe before connecting to internet again
also i would destroy and writable media that you can not be 100% sure of the contents eg floppy disks incase they carry an infection
But if you are carrying out criminal procedings please check first with whoever is handling your case as you may be destroying vital evidence

Thank you very much for that, as that is what I myself would like, to get back to the subjuct of computers and hacking. But it did seem that some were more intrested in the court case and all that, rather then the problem that brought me here.
I am here to learn, in hopes of picking up simple information that I may have either overlooked or was never aware of. Not to debate the topic of mental illness, or any other topic but computers and hacking.
More to the point, I was/am looking for ways to shild aginst RF attacks to my system. I have as you said been searching sites, and have come up with a few possible ways to accomplish this, but I also wanted to see if any one else had encounterd this type of hacking attack.
And no I am not going to line my walls with tin foil (laughing)
The best and cheepest way to try so far has to do with a faraday cage of sorts. I am at that point since there seems to be (after checking) to many exposers or points of access to my wiring.
I am going to try building a small one, just to enclose the main part of my term here, while leaving the front of the monitor open. Like a cover of sorts.
If anyone has a good idea on this or other easy to use shilding please let me know. If you are just intrested in harassment, as Mr. Coffee pointed out, this is not the place.

Check this page out, you may have already. What you propose will not be a faraday cage. Read on here . This may give you some more insite on my suggestion of shielding the entire room. I am an expert in radio and electronics in general. I do know how to shield its effects as well.

one of other option would be to completly remove the Hardrive from your machine and replace it - this could then be given over to the law enforcment authorities as evidence - you could then fit a new clean hard-drive which you will be sure is what infection.
Always remember though to install an anti-virus and a firewall before conecting to the internet and upon connection attempt to download all new AV signatures and critical security updates.
As with my last suggestion i would first speak to who ever is handling your case to ensure that they agree to your rmeoval of the harddrive as a viable option.

Tracey, I'm sure you have a lot of problems...... RF hacking, unless you have placed a receiver and installed the appropriate drivers etc. on your computer, is not one of your problems!!!!! Secondly, if you are to have any hope of proving that you have been hacked by anyone or anything in a court of law then you need to read some stuff about computer forensics. Once you start foxxing with your machine then the crime scene is as screwed up as any other more traditional crime scene is and the evidence gained there will be thrown out of court just like the evidence on your computer will if you keep messing with it. Clearly, with all the letters you have sent etc. no-one is taking you seriously enough to have taken your computer away for examination. I can't say I blame them because your story is ridiculous.
Lastly, take the advice given. Go to someone elses computer that has a CD writer. Download an AV program, Spybot or Ad-aware, a firewall and I would recommend Winpatrol too so that you will be warned in the future if something is installing itself. Go home, disconnect the computer from the internet. Restart it in safe mode. Install and run the AV. Install and run spybot or ad aware, install and run the firewall, install and run Winpatrol.
When you have done all that come back and tell us what is going on with your computer. Don't mention RF hacking, we don't want to hear about the voices in your head or the pain in your eyes and heart. This is a computer security site not a doctors or a psychiatrists office.
Now, do yourself a favor and go and do what you have been told to do or drop it altogether.
Now... "airwaves".. we call it times better high frequency magnetic fields.
it is definitely technically possible to backconclude data, registers at that, even addressed at the CPU by using "magnetic field sniffers" and appropriate finger prints.
i never heard about the reverse way.

The closest to this RF hacking that I heard of was a radio keylogger that, once installed on a keyboard [note: the 'client' was about as thick as a sticker and as big as an E tab] would send out keytaps by transmitting the electric signals in the wire to a receiver [that had to be withing 1 km]. The receiver would then be able to decode everything.
But that still meant an additional 'device' had to be installed to the computer. Outcastone if your computer is not wireless enabled then you might want to make sure you weren't actually hacked through the wire.
Also something that puzzles me.. how did you capture that code fragment [which looks like some scripted html]? I mean most sniffers and traffic analyzers I know of monitor some devices on the box. I don't suppose your cellphone got it as an SMS so...
If it is coming through the wire there might be a rogue AP or terminal set somewhere between your box and the ISP box... it would play well into us helping you if you could tell us what type of Internet connection you have, and whatever else you know about the topography of the wiring that this connection is going through.
This is a bit extreme but if these people have resources to spend on RF transmitters they wouldn't mind splicing into the cables I think.
And I'm not passing on any judgement in regards to your mental sanity, but there are still pieces of the puzzle that seem to belong to a different box.

I have been looking at biulding a type of faraday cage, it would not really be a cage though but I feel it would help stop the attacks on my system if placed in the right area. I do believe I know from what direction they come from.
My question to ya'll at this time would be,

Taking a two pieces of cardborad, (box maybe) and a glue stick, and some fine copper mesh.
glue the strips of copper mesh on the cardborad, and repeat giveing two laryes of mesh. This should still be flexable enough to mold around the back, sides and top of the system, leaveing enough room for ventalation
The end result would be something like a box, with two sides missing, the bottom and front.
any ideas or sugestions to this approch?

I think the real question is do YOU think this would work...
Several of us here have come to the conclusion that your computer is NOT being hacked via RF.
It is both logically and physically impossible with out some receiver, driver and or protocol.
If this were possible... as TigerShark has already said... we would all be out of a job.
(or for some of us... there would be no point in trying to get a computer security job)
Read up some on networking and data communciations... you need some type of transmitter/receiver and protocols... Windows ME has a hard enough time staying up let alone deciphering some secret RF transmissions... The method you are being hacked, (if you are being hacked at all), is through modem and TCP/IP. (modulator/demodulator and transmission control protocol/ internet protocol) not to mention the use of a HORRIBLE Operating System and an equally HORRIBLE ISP. Even GORE won't touch that operating system... You mentioned that you are using an eMachine PC which (before they were puchaced by Gateway) made a bad PC. Not bad as in "bad ass"... but bad as in you'll have tons of problems with it. Read the consumer reports... talk to other people who have owned them.
There are more reasons for not receiving emails... (virus and spam filters on the ISP side?)
Got lost in the big black hole we call the internet. etc.
Maybe your computer had a brain fart and the driver screwed up the keyboard mapping?
I have recommened to you several times that you scan your system for virus and trojans.
While your at it, scan for adware and spyware too. (as others have mentioned)
You have not provided results for the scans and we are unable to help you without some results.
This is in my opinion:

Because what you describe is IMPOSSIBLE.

FYI to the stupid idiot and to anyone else that would like to know: The word is "shielding" and it's not done to protect computers from being hacked. In the US, computers housing classified information must in most cases be kept in "vaults". People that work on these systems also work in these "vaults". The purpose of the shielding is to prevent potential espionage type activities via "Tempest" technology. Tempest refers to the ability to detect, gather, and decipher electromagnetic emissions coming from various parts of a computer (usually the monitor, but in some cases processor, etc.). This is a passive monitoring technology only. The exact requirements for such shielding are classified by the US Department of Defense. Needless to say, the technology itself, in its refined form, is also classified. However, I think it safe to say that some cardboard and a gluestick would not defeat it.
Now, why don't you spend less time worrying about your computer being hacked, and more time worrying about the secret implants that the government has surgically installed in your head, the wiretaps on all of your phones, who all of those strange people are that have been following you, and the alien anal probe that's making you waste our bandwidth on stupid crap like this.

1. I do not believe that you are being "hacked" as such. If you think so then you must run the anti spyware, antivirus and firewall applications already suggested, because it means that your computer has been "owned" and you would have no idea of what the hacker might have put on it. You need to be certain that is clean.
2. Harassment is a completely different scenario, but may not be deliberate. As already asked, is there anything close by that could be a source of emissions? Quite close to where I live there is a big pyramid in the middle of the moors. It is part of the DEW line, and emissions from it have been known to immobilise cars in the local pub car park...........even the Royal Air Force admit that there "might be a problem"
3. Do you have problems with other electronic devices in your house like TV, radio, cellphones?
4. As others have said, I find it improbable that you are being hacked via RF, although EMF, EMP, RFI and microwaves can interfere with other sensitive electronic equipment like computers.
5. TEMPEST is 1950's technology and is a listening not a transmitting system Nonstop and the others.............well, possible, but outside the technical and financial capacities of your suspects.
6. A faraday cage is NOT what you want................hell man, this is affecting your health! You need to find and eliminate the source. Borrow/buy/build a microwave detector. Also get a marching (magnetic) compass and see if it does anything strange when these goings on are occuring..............and turn on the TV and check for interference.
7. Remember that if you tell yourself something often enough you will start to believe it. It is time for some logical scientific investigation. So start by checking your machine for malware.

We have a saying over here "bad things come in threes". Now, supposing through one of the normal vectors (e-mail, net connection etc.) you got infected/invaded? then you would see "hacking" symptoms?
At the same time, there could be something in your environment that is causing problems, such as high tension cables, microwave transmitters. Big business is not going to cut profit, admit mistakes or whatever for the likes of us? This could also cause strange phenomena in your home, even apparent "hacking symptoms"
I do not believe that minor and very petty individuals would have the technical knowledge, or resources to mount a personal attack using RFI and such technology. To attack you in your home would require enormous voltages...........those are neither cheap nor transportable (in normal vehicles).
Please do not put your faith in single vector solutions, they can be very misleading.

It is more jamming now, but I have found out from what location and will attempt to retrive the device in question in the next few days. If possible, I wil even post a photo of it and where I recoverd it from, as this may be of intrest to the few that are up to date.

EMI/RFI I can see the waveforms riding the tides. In my mind of course. So you built a box of some sort outcastone2000. What is it? Tell me about the demodulation, where is the intelligence removed from the incoming carrier and what sort of frequency are we talking about? If it is not demodulating then what is the span you are receiving and what does the noise look like. There are easy ways to determine man made versus natural interference. Mother earth is VERY noisy. If you were indeed savey in these areas you would have routinely placed a ground wire on your computer case. No need for fancy screen rooms, just ground the damn case that would limit the RF to a very local area and I am sure you would notice the whisper copter hovering at night.
No ground, well it's not the best but you can pop the wire into the ground socket in the electrical outlet. Please don't plug anything into the hot and neutral plugs. The small one is hot the bigger one on the left is neutral and the rounded one on the bottom is ground.
Hmmm come to think of it, you could just get an old fan motor, remove the ground and then plug it into the outlet. THERE that is your cover, make sure it's an old dirty one from a garage sale. Now you have something generating or raising the noise level in the room (RF Speaking of course) problem solved?
JP is on the money. One could go to radio shack and get a reciever that will pick up random data from your PC. Mostly the monitor. This is espcecially useful for old CRT type mainfram systems where the color noise didn't cloud what could be picked up as random letter characters. He didn't mention modems though. One on an outside wall is very loud in spectral terms. You can't hear the beeps but you can "see" them. SO Tiger, that does put a spin on computer security doesn't it? Don't get me started on the noise an impoper ethernet cable generates, OR one bent a little past it's minumim bend radius. There is a minimum bend radius you know. I believe for tempest purposes it's 3 inches measured at the inside arc.
There is a group here that believes the air force is conducting mind control experiements through the little round boxes on the top of light poles. I always thought those were photo receptors desiged to close the circuit when the light particles (photons) no longer energized the cell, meaning it got dark on the planet as it rotates and the lights came on. But apparently these are masked frequency emitters desiged to alter my thinking and reply to this thread. (not to mention the fact that it's now in COSMOS) Interesting.
Oh I like the key fob experiement.... here is one that hurts like a mutha truka... Find a sonic motion sensor. I used to try and walk across a room without setting one off by moving ever so slowly, like in the movies - it really works as long as it's not combined with IR. Now climp up to it and touch your skull to the sensor. If you get knocked to the floor you now have learned a lesson. I never felt so much pain in my entire life as my skull propogated a sound wave not meant for my body to absorb at that level. Why did I do that, no ****ing clue...
Now the issue with tempest is not so much related to computers. It takes a VAN full of equipment to gain any real data and analysts filling in the blanks. The real issue is modems, ethernet, and communication devices such as sat uplinks and telephones and television. It's not so much the entire data stream especially in high bandwidth applications. It's that nice little audio wave that gets propigated that is enticing and cable modems scream with noise. Unless all your connectors are in perfect order, but then it only makes it more difficult because I don't have to set in my car to record the raw data on equipment MUCH more expensive than 200.00 US, I have to get out and get within a couple of feet some how.
