Oh! And ANOTHER rant! Man, today is the day for rants with me, as evidently the gremlins are well at it. I'm working on critical document backups to DVD, and guess what? The new DVD burner I installed just up and stops burning for no apparent reason! I keep getting "INVALID ADDRESS FOR WRITE" and no error description, and that happens every time. Oh yeah, that tells me a lot! GEEZ!!! No, it wasn't enough that our email program had to go crazy, this had to go AWOL too. And then on top of that, I learn that Spyd was beating my XP machine with his 98 all this time. AAAARRRGH!

Today's Rant(s): Jeez. Make one little innocuous suggestion and get hammered. ah well. c'est la vie. oh, and you're welcome. I for one thought it'd look pretty cool, and be a nice useful thing to a lazy slob like myself.
More Rant: Since yesterday, I have received at home 50+ phone calls at odd hours from folks wanting to speak to our guest. They come on my phone, my cell, the house phone... jeez. People PLEASE! Have you no lives? Are you such idiots that you must call and check in every 10 minutes all damn day to make sure everything's ok here, or to tell us everything is ok with you? FRICK! OK, I get the message! NOTHING HAS OCCURRED! quit calling already! *ROAR*
STILL More Rant: Someone either cannot enforce discipline or won't upon their kids. Overheard in my bedroom, OVER THE TV, at 230 this morning "WAAAAAAAAAH! MAAAMAAAA!" "SHADDUP!" "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" "mumblemumble" more kid screaming, etc ad nauseum until about 530. Bloody neighbors *growl*
Further Rant: Former co-workers accosting me on a regular basis to tell me how much their job sucks and what new stupid thing the boss has come up with, A YEAR after I've left them. Jeez People, get lives. I left for a reason yanno. Leave me the F*** alone about it already! I'm down to telling them to either quit or quit whining to me about it at this point...
Final Rant: I HATE cole slaw. It stinks. Quit putting it on my plate and quit offering it to me saying 'just try a bite'. I swear next person that says that to me about cole slaw will wind up wearing it.

Hrmm, I really could have sworn I told you. I only go on AIM on my 98 machine. That's the only system I go on AIM with (although the WinME system has yahoo messenger for the guests). My Win98 owns alot of boxes more advanced then it because I gave it life and boosted the **** outta it :DQuote:

What the **** gives people to drive 80MPH in the breakdown lane, then almost cause 2 accidents right before the exit???? So this happens to me and I had plenty of time to go to work....anyways I follow the son of a bitch and it just happens that he's going to the same mall I was working at. He wasn't even late for work(given that he works there) because the mall didn't open for another 20 minutes...WHAT A ****ING IDIOT!!!!! GOd I just wanted to kill this piece of ****.
RANT: Life blows, anyone ever think of suicide? Bleh.. anyways back on topic. My life has been at a downward spiral for some time now and there doesn't seem to be hope on it getting better either.

I just need to bring up how ****ing slow the IT industry is as far as job availability and calling back. I have had 3 interviews now and the positions are still open -- not saying that i am the perfect candidate, but they have stopped accepting interviews a month ago AND they still have yet to hire someone...
