I was trying to find the criteria for becoming knighted to no avail at this point. I was wondering how the Queen decided who gets what. I think you should have to fight for it, go on a quest for some artifact or something. Then again, I'm just an Amercian-honkey.

Yeah, there have been US citizens who have accepted KBEs and honors from other nations. If I remember correctly from hearing from the President's oath of office: by accepting a KBE, George, Sr. might be considered to have comitted treason.Quote:
