It's okay, Spyder, cut KorpDeath some slack. He is suffering from delusions and such. He just can't seem to see that the Hawks will have their way with the Steelers come Sunday.
Actually, I'm predicting a very close, low-scoring, hard-fought game, with a small win margin (3 to 4 points), but with the Seahawks on top.
And, there will probably be a lot of injuries.

Just kidding of course. I hope it's the game of the Decade. Two teams on the grid iron doing battle. A close hard fought game, with a lot of action, and scores in the 20's - 30's. Plenty of snacks and w00ting.
They better get a lot of Xray Techs on duty that day!

End of 1st quarter, Seattle 7, Pittsburgh still warming up. Kudos to Seattle for scoring first blood in their first Super Bowl appearance.
Anyone notice how incredibly old Randy White's looking during the 'special ceremony' pregame? Yeesh the guy's lost massive weight and bulk. I hope he's in decent health at least.

I probably wouldnt have picked the Steelers only because I"m supersticious....but I felt they SHOULD have won..and they did!
The steelers weren't suppose to win, it was the refs fault!
The first steelers 'touchdown' wasn't a touchdown, the ref just didn't want to overturn the call, the ball intially DIDN'T cross the touchdown line!
Also the pushing foul was another bulls**t call, he didn't push him, he extended his arm, also did you notice the delay in the ref throwing the flag?? He threw the flag AFTER the play was over!
But oh well lol, congrats to everyone who won money good thing i didn't bet :-D

Disagree on the Steeler TD: the ball did go over the white goal line while Ben was in the air (just the tip did but that's all it takes according to the rule). The ball was at the upper part of his shoulder until he then got hit and then it went back to his stomach. Got it on Tivo and video and it's pretty clear on replay.Quote:

I actually agree with you on the off pass interference call in the endzone against the Seahawk WR...but oh well.
It was a good game...for a while, then the Seahawks chocked...and the Steelers D was strong (got stronger). I actually wanted a closer game...the Seahawks really were (especially Alexander and the QB) not making big plays and were ineffective.
Oh well.

From what I saw, it was a good game. For the record, if you're invited to a Super Bowl party, don't show up late so that your host(ess) has to keep going back in the kitchen and cooking more and not getting to watch the game! :mad:
The Steelers TD was a TD, Big Ben broke the plane of the endzone while in the air, which is all that's required. The TD that the Seahawks didn't get was questionable, because either player could have been called for pass interference. However, the addition of 6 or 7 more points wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game.
And nobody noticed that the Stones got frigging censored?!?
