I love my apartment. The complex has 2 hackers and 4 stoners. It's a wonderful mix. (Yes, I was counted twice.)

Hmmm. I was just thinking... With all the stuff going on in the world, why is the biggest story on the news always about "the war on gay marriage."
Personally, I'm disgusted by the concept of gay marriage. I'm also disgusted by the concept of straight marriage. Lincoln freed the slaves, so why does this practice continue.
Heh, my complex has one hacker that live's right underneath me. Me and him are best friend's though and we often have fun with each other's crap (he has a mini network similiar to mine consisting of a few Linux boxes).
Ya know, that's a very good and interesting point in that whole gay marriage debate. Personally, I don't give a shish because their people and they should be able to marry each other if they want. But thas just my 0.06 cents :)Quote:

D0pp139an93r, Im tired of hearing about this. (there is no law that can prevent marriage!!!) There is a difference in the normal chirch, elvis, & ring thing rather than the court-yard stuff.
What these peaple actually want is a advantage money wise, and to maybe be the first alerted when the person they're banging gets hospitalised.
Other than that these guys could grab a ring and a guy dressed like elvis any time or day, so im tired of peaple saying "legalise marriage" knowing fully well that this is not a issue. Money and legal advantages are.

Right now I'm working for AAA as a dispatcher. I send out tow trucks to people who are too stupid to change their own tires.
It's not exactly rewarding.

I HATE MICROSOFT. i had to make a new partition because Windows XP couldnt recognize the one i had ( NTFS ) ....so i had to delete all my data (songs on one hard drive just to install WinXP on the other ......this is crap. now i have to install every program and transfer every song(2075) again.....XP SUX, cant wait to get DSL to go over to Linux....

EDIT2: For all those who wonder how I got online with a winmodem on Linux read this http://www.physcip.uni-stuttgart.de/heby/ltmodem/ (found it on a floppy I had written it down dont know why :p) worked when I tried it on RH 7.2 don't know if it still does.
/me is one of the very few who actually buy it. I decided to contribute to the RH staff as they work so hard on it..........no not actually just takes too long to download on 56k
I just used PoTCP for the second time.
TCP is one helluva drug :D
