I just had another thought! If you can't reply to the emails from AO about thread updates, it would bounce back to your email, which would bounce it back to the AO server or w/e b/c the account has been deactivated....it'd be like an endless cycle with *each* email! Imagine if you subscribed to every thread you came across.... There'd be like sh*t loads of traffic on both sides just dealing with all the email! Finally somebody on one side would be like "what the hell?" :eek7:
