When is this project going to start...? I had the PM, but I have other things on my mind now (getting my MA).
And btw the point conf1m3d_k1ll mentioned is also worth considerating...
Luckily my ISP is small and local, if something goes awry I can explain it to them.

Same here Terr, I work in the same building as my ISP and we share a lot of work back and forth. I'll just have to give him a heads up and everything will be fine.
If I'm picked that is, there are way more on here with higher skill sets than me but it would still be mighty fun. :)

I debated whether or not to send this in a PM or not but I think this needs to be addressed publicly. I'm a little concerned that JP didn't say why our personal details are needed for this project. Personally, I don't like the idea of giving out my personal information (especially information related to my job) over the web.
JP: Why do you want to know this information if all you want to do is run a war games box?
I thought of the same thing, SMIRC. It would be really nice to get message back from JP. It sounds like loads of fun but I am still a little wary.

I doubt JP would do anything with the info. I just think he is using this info to decipher between who & who not to choose for the 1st group to play wit the boxez. I trust him. U should do the same. Anyways. . . he provides this "FREE" site for us.

I agree with RougeSpy, The information it is asking you to fill in is simple info that will allow for a simple profile of you to be made....(I think anyway). Anyone remember awhile back when www.happyhacker.org ran a war game? You get a BUNCH of people running DOS attacks on the machine and took it offline over and over.
The fact this "project" is sponsered by the DoD is quite ingenious if you ask me....let some goverment consumer protection agency provide funding for the wargame we all get what we have been asking for. Remember the whole reason we are all here is to improve security, who really cares if the info goes to the DoD or if it goes somewhere else?
