I agree with Dhej, in this and in many other cases a balance is the ideal. If you were to never talk to anyone and be comepltely antisocial, you're going to have some serious psychological issues, and you won't really be happy. On the other hand, constant chit chat will start to make you "shallow", and somewhat empty when silences come.
