But, i'm not surfing through an open proxy server (i think). Why it appears on me too.Please don't flame, it's stupid, i know. On my question:"And sth else ntsa is NetSyn" I'm asking if you (ntsa) is the same guy with NetSyn.

T from the third letter neTsyn.

I feel old after seeing this post. When I was in high school. We could smoke, they had soda machines, we could leave campus for lunch, go outside at lunch and between classes. I has changed drasticaly. Those were the days..... :D

I know when i was in school, we always talked about how stupid the school was to suspend you, when you where skipping class. This school having much MUCH less, security than yours, NetSyn (thank god).

Perhaps this whole suspension thing, is from the old-school ways, of dealing with students. When the students actually wanted to learn.(?) It should change, as most everything else, does during evolution.

As for the comment about NetSyn almost being finished with school, and should go...
During the last half of my Senior year, I almost didn't graduate. Why? Simply put. I wasn't learning a damn thing. So why go to school when you aren't learning? I had to go. So i could have enough credits to graduate. What is the purpose of getting credits? It shows that you have learned something. So when does not learning, and getting credits the right way to learn? Confused yet? :)

After having failed all my classes in the 3rd quarter, I got my act straightened out. Kind of. We had four classes a day, 80 minute classes. Two classes before Lunch. Two after lunch. So during the 4th quarter, I would go to my "mandatory" class. Meaning I made a deal with this teacher that, he would let me stay in his class, if i showed up. If i didn't show up once, I was out, and then would not graduate because, i did not have the required amount of credits.

So i showed up to that class. The next class was P.E. And they way the grade you in that class, is if you have "dressed down" (gotten into PE type clothes). So i wore shorts every day. Showed up for attendance, and did the daily exercises. Then I left, went home, and used my computer. Stayed at home, past lunch, past the third class, then went into the last class. Which I had to go to, and which was easy **** anyway. Again, didn't learn anything in that class either.
And I graduated. Went to Europe for a graduation present.
I just wanted to learn. And if I wasn't learning, why be there in the first place?

As you can see, the school system is ****ed up. But stick with it. It is such a huge burden off your back, once you have your Diploma. Then you can go your own way. Get a job, or go to college.

No I am someone else entirely. ntsa refers to my job (NT sysadmin). Netsyn is a reference to syn packets (a packet that starts the 3 way handshaking of syn/synack/ack as defined by rfc793).

But cherish it while it lasts, there's so much I look back on and laugh about now....
Even the stupidity of the school system and whatnot....and if you ever take a sociology class in college, they'll go more in depth to why that is.....You can't help but snicker.... *LOL*

I'm in senior now and the teachers don't care wheather you attend the class or not. They say it reflects it on your grade...

hahah well in our school.. we do have those IDs with magentic strips and we swipe them on the building door to get inside.. and each rooms.. also has them swipey thingies thats for attendance and for entrance.. coz you can only get in rooms which u are given access to.. and it also serves as an attendance and log thingy so they would know who went in that room at a certain time incase of some emergency.. but ours NEVER had an alarm.. lol when we cut class.. there is no alarm that goes off but after few mins u will have a teacher waiting outside the room to take u to the Year Coordinator.. and discuss your delinquency..

reason of suspension is coz.. when ur suspended.. u will miss more class and will have a HARDER time catching up what u missed.. and if u cant manage to catch up.. u fail.. so basically.. it would refrain u from cutting more class.. coz u already missed out alot when u cut ur class and u will miss MORE if u get suspended.. so if u dont want a HARDER time to catch up with things and if you dont want to DOUBLE your study time and effort and DOUBLE your chances of failing ALL your subjects.. dont cut class.. :P

and if your excuse for failing is coz u were suspended.. well u shouldnt have cut class in the first place, should u?.. hehehe

its basically saying.. "since you love to miss class.. why dont I let u miss class for A WHOLE MONTH.. and then you might know what it MEANS when you MISS CLASSES.. and you would also LEARN the CONSEQUENCES if you miss your classes.."

i learnt that lesson when i was in University.. because in Uni.. they DONT CARE if ur in class or not.. as long as u hand in all your assessments in time.. ur ok.. u wont fail.. but since i wasnt in some classes i didnt knew what they were talking about and everytime i show up in class again.. they dump me TONS of assessments that i dont even know what they are.. and if i ask.. what these assessemets are .. they say "well u should have been here when we were discussing this in class.." so long story short.. i failed some of my subjects and didnt get to recieve my certificate.. and since i didnt get my certificate.. i cant get a job.. coz no employer would hire someone who doesnt show up and cant be relied to do his/her job.. and someone who has NO QUALIFICATIONS.. so i did my course AGAIN.. and this time i didnt skip ANY CLASS.. not even once.. and i passed all and finally got my certificate.. and get a proper job..

Take some advice from somebody who tried to fight the school system as a younger man. Went through three highschools and four colleges, and this is what I learned.

You get out of school what you put into it. If you only bitch and fight with the school, it will just bitch and fight with you, and you will be miserable. If you come motivated to learn and put the effort in, the school will put the effort in to teach you. You can always learn something from a class, the illusion of wellbeing and self bias need to be put aside so you can benefit. That next thing is the hardest part of getting a successful education. You have to stop externalizing the problems associated with school. If you can accept your share of responsibility for the way your education is developing, then you acknowledge the fact that it is in your hands to shape. Then, if you are motivated, school can be a wonderful thing for you.

Of course, school is not for everyone. Clearly until you are eighteen you have no choice, but at that point if you really feel you have nothing to gain then there is no reason to go. You can not teach somebody who is unwilling to learn. Before you decide this, however, I would take a long and serious look in the mirror. Analyze yourself, what have you done or not done to help or hinder your education. Accept responsibility, do not distribute blame. If you still feel it is a waste of your time, then it will be for you as long as you maintain that attitude. Get a job for the sake of the rest of us though, we need productive members of society.
